Family Recovers for Death of Mother and Spouse due to Air Embolism

Yolanda Ziegler died while undergoing dialysis. P&D obtained statements from Fire Rescue that dialysis staff reported that air got into the dialysis lines. Pita Weber Del Prado sued the dialysis center for malpractice. P&D retained a biomedical engineer and one of the top forensic pathologists in the country to help prove the method and cause of death. The case resolved successfully. At the defendant’s request, the amount is confidential.
