Life Insurance Company Pays Full Death Proceeds
Two years before Ms. G died, no premiums had been paid on her life insurance policy. Default notices to Ms. G were not dealt with. After she passed away, the insurance company refused to pay anything to the beneficiaries because of the failure to pay premiums. PDM analyzed the policy and advocated that a disability clause in the policy forgave the lack of premium payment. One year after Ms. G passed away, the life insurance company did pay out the full benefits on the policy. The amount was substantial. It was an honor to represent the family in this matter. In the past 3 years, PDM has successfully obtained full death benefits on two life insurance policies where coverage was originally denied.
