Do I have to wear a helmet while riding a bicycle in Florida?
Video Transcription:
In Florida, a bicyclist who is under the age of 16 must wear a helmet. However, an adult over the age of 16 is not required to wear a helmet and if an adult is involved in a bicycle crash and sustains an injury and they’re not wearing a helmet, that fact can not be raised in evidence. It can’t be used as proof of comparative fault against the bicycle rider.
